We will trying to monitor Windows Memory Usage, Diskspace, CPU Load and Uptime From Nagios.

First we need to have a nagios up and running smoothly.

Next we also need a windows nagios agent.

Install nagios agent / nsclient to your windows server/client.

Event Viewer :

With Event Viewer, users can monitor events recorded in the Application, Security, and System logs.
To open Event Viewer in Windows XP, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer.
To open Event Viewer in Windows Server 2003, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Event Viewer.

How to view event logs :

When renewing a certicate, sometimes we lost our private key, to avoid this you should backup your private key after the renewing certificate process.
